Thank You For The Music: Noel Harrison

 
Noel Harrison     29th January 1934 - 19th October 2013
 
 
This might have slipped under the radar but we lost Noel last week. Noel released 13 albums, 7 in the 1960s. He was the son of the actor Rex Harrison and released one bona fide classic.

    Beautiful song, sung only how an Englishman could sing it; bloodless, dispassionate and quite captivating... (don't tell me he was Welsh Nick!)
    His pater did that talking/singing thing with similar panache...

    True Mr J. True. No Welsh blood as far as I'm aware :( - came from the same singing school as Richard Harris. Although we both agree he made a classic album. I love My Fair Lady :) but that could be because I love Audrey Hepburn. Interestingly Noël played Prof Higgins too :)

    I love Audrey Hepburn. Hands off Baker, she's mine. I only picked Di because of her fleeting (see what I did there?) resemblance...
